What ScriptTrack does

One live status per prescription — sent, in preparation, out of stock, insurer-blocked, ready, collected — visible identically to patient, prescriber and pharmacy, so the refill cycle stops being a mystery retold differently by everyone in it.

How you actually use it

  1. Start tracking an issued prescriptionPaste the prescription’s id and press Track it: the issued stamp is copied off the prescription itself, and a prescription that has not been issued is refused.
  2. Send it to a chemistPick the pharmacy under Where to send, add a note for the chemist, and Send moves the row along the board.
  3. Walk the rungsAccept, Ready and Collected are offered one at a time because the server refuses the others, and the status is computed from the stamps rather than typed.
  4. Propose a substitutionSubstitute takes the prescribed medicine, the proposed one and why — two identical names are refused, and only one substitution waits on a prescription at a time.
  5. Let a prescriber decide itSubstitutions waiting on a prescriber offers approve or reject with a reason the chemist can tell the patient; nobody approves their own request, and an undecided substitution blocks Collected by a guard in the update itself.
