What NoteGuard does

Four structural checks over this hospital’s own rows, run on a visit before its note is signed: a visit with no diagnosis recorded, a medicine written with none, an abnormal result — abnormal because the laboratory recorded it so — whose name appears nowhere in the note, and no follow-up of any kind (no recall raised, no future appointment). The assistant may add flags on top, and each of those must cite one of the excerpts it was given; they stay a proposal nobody can close until a named person with the deciding permission has accepted or rejected it. Every flag closes as fixed, accepted or not applicable — accepting the risk or saying it does not apply needs words.

How you actually use it

1. 1Pick the visit from the dayOn Check a visit, choose the Day and pick the Visit from that day’s open visits — planned, arrived or in progress. The visit id is never typed. Also ask the assistant is offered only where the organisation offers the assistant.
2. 2Run the checksRun the checks runs four checks over this hospital’s own rows: a visit with no diagnosis recorded, a medicine written with none, an abnormal result whose name is nowhere in the note, and no follow-up of any kind. No drug or disease knowledge base ships with the product, so nothing here reads one.
3. 3Decide the assistant’s proposal firstIn What the check found, the assistant’s flags are labelled apart from the checks and stay a proposal: Accept the flags keeps them on the list to work through, Reject them closes them with your reason, and only somebody with the deciding permission can do either. The service refuses to close an assistant flag before that decision. If the assistant could not look at the note, the drawer says so and the checks ran anyway.
4. 4Close each flag with wordsOn every open flag, What did you do? is Fixed it, Accepted the risk or Does not apply, and Why is needed unless you fixed it — the service refuses an acceptance or a dismissal without it. The register keeps which statement was made.
5. 5Nothing here blocks a signatureRuns shows every run With something open or Everything, with how many flags are open and whether the assistant was asked, used or refused. The note itself is never edited from this screen and its signature is never held.

What it does not do

It holds no drug or disease knowledge base and consults none, because this product ships none: every check is a fact about your own rows, and anything the assistant says beyond them is a flag a clinician accepts or dismisses in writing, never a rule the product asserts. It never blocks a signature and never edits a note.
