What HomeDraw does

Home-collection slots, phlebotomist routes and the same barcode custody as the lab — the kitchen table is just another draw site.

How you actually use it

  1. Pick the dayThe routes planned for that date are listed with their area, phlebotomist, stops, drawn and failed counts. Open shows the stops in sequence with the test each one is for.
  2. Send the route outGo out marks a planned route as out. Until then the stops offer no draw, and the server refuses one too.
  3. Draw each stopType the tube barcode, pick the container and press Drawn. A barcode already on another tube in the clinic is refused, so two samples never share one label.
  4. Mark what failedFailed records the reason picked in the list: nobody home, patient refused, wrong address, could not get a vein. The stop appears on the Redraw list.
  5. Hand over at the labBack at the lab — hand over takes the box temperature and passes the collected tubes to SampleChain as one manifest, whose id then shows on the route.

Read out of the code, not the brochure: each app below is here because one service queries the other’s tables. Install either side and the hand-over is already wired.

What it reads

ordersappointments

What it writes

routescustody events
Same patient record as every other app — nothing is copied into a silo. Data class: PHI-lite.

What it does not do

It does not show the phlebotomist the clinical reason for the test.

Every app page carries this section. A listing with only benefits is an advertisement.
