AMC and CMC contracts on the units you sold: PM visits from your interval, renewal reminders, quotes and invoices.
Installs with InstalledBase, whose screen it works onMaintenance contracts sold to a trade customer or to a person, covering their units on InstalledBase. Each contract is your own: AMC (labour), CMC (with parts), an extended warranty or a kind you name, its dates and price, the preventive-maintenance interval in months and the response and resolution targets in hours that FieldService runs its clock on — nothing ships with a figure in it. A unit is on one live contract for any day. Starting a contract generates its PM visits from your interval, per unit; a due visit becomes a PM ticket in FieldService and is settled when that ticket is resolved. Renewal reminders come on the contract’s own window, once; a renewal quote has its validity, and accepted it writes the next contract from the day after this one ends. A person’s contract goes on their bill; a trade customer’s is a tax invoice numbered from the trade invoice series, with the tax rate and label you enter, posted to TradeLedger as their receivable and paid there — refused, as OrderBook refuses a sale, while a licence you require is missing or the customer is held, over their limit or past due, unless someone who manages credit lets it through with a reason.
