What CaseArchive does

Interesting cases archived with de-identification enforced at entry, tagged by condition and finding, quiz modes for residents, and provenance kept for the teaching file.

How you actually use it

  1. Write the draftNew draft case takes a patient id, an age in whole years, sex, specialty, title, presentation, diagnosis and comma-separated tags; the id is turned into a one-way digest and discarded, and an age outside 0 to 120 is refused.
  2. Add the learning points and the imagesAdd learning point and Add image reference work on an open case; an image is a reference the archive points at, not a file it holds.
  3. Confirm the de-identificationConfirm de-identified marks the text and Confirm marks each image; the Before this can be published box lists exactly what is still missing, so the refusal is never a surprise.
  4. Have somebody else review itPeer review moves a draft on, and the service refuses a review signed by the case’s own author.
  5. Publish, then correct by addendumPublish is refused without peer review, without confirmed text, with any unconfirmed image or with no learning point; once published the case is frozen and Add addendum is the only way to correct it.

What it writes

casesquizzes
Same patient record as every other app — nothing is copied into a silo. Data class: PHI-lite.

What it does not do

It does not accept an image with a visible identifier — entry screening blocks it.

Every app page carries this section. A listing with only benefits is an advertisement.
