What WarrantyVault does

Every warranty, AMC and CMC with coverage terms, claim windows and renewal dates — a breakdown checks coverage before anyone pays for a repair that was free.

How you actually use it

  1. Record the coverPick the registered asset or write the item, then the kind — warranty, AMC, insurance or support — the vendor, the dates it runs between, the cost and how many days before expiry to be reminded.
  2. Work the expiring listExpiring shows every cover inside its own reminder window or already lapsed, with the days left.
  3. Renew as a new rowA renewal never edits a date: it writes a new cover chained to the old one, and a cover already renewed refuses a second renewal — renew the renewal instead.
  4. Log the claimA claim carries the date and what went wrong, and the insert’s own WHERE requires that date to fall between the cover’s valid-from and valid-to — which is the point, since a repair paid for under live cover is money given away.
  5. Settle itSettling takes how the claim ended and the date, refuses a date before the claim was made, and a claim settles once.
