What it is

For the hospitals a state notifies as a medical authority for disability certificates. Each sitting of the board is recorded with the day, the specified disabilities it assessed (the twenty-one the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 names) and its members as the state’s notification constitutes it. Each application carries the enrolment number the UDID portal gave the applicant and their specified disability. A prescriber records the board’s finding — the percentage as the board assessed it under the notified guidelines, permanent or with the date it is re-assessed — once, against a sitting that assessed that disability, on the day it sat; nothing is computed. The certificate follows the finding, once, and the card is followed from generated to dispatched to received, forward only. A due date for the certificate shows only when the hospital sets its own window from the rules, with the source. The UDID portal is not connected: the desk updates it there and records each step here.
