What TBTrack does

Treatment courses with adherence support, sputum checks at months two, five and six, weight monthly, LFT monitoring, contact screening lists, and NikshayBridge notifications built in.

How you actually use it

  1. Start the courseEnrolling takes the regimen — new, retreatment or MDR — the site, and the weight band, and a patient already on a course is refused until that one is closed with an outcome.
  2. Observe one dose a dayRecording a dose is DOTS: one observation per patient per day, and a second on the same date is refused.
  3. Record the sputum at its monthA sputum result is positive, negative or not applicable at a stated month, and the milestones for it are dated off the CarePlans enrolment.
  4. Record the NIKSHAY id onceThe notification id is set once and never changed, and an id already recorded on another enrolment is refused.
  5. Close with an outcomeCured, completed, failed, lost to follow-up or died closes the enrolment and writes the outcome in one stroke — and anything other than cured or completed needs a line of detail, because a shrug is not a record.
