What OpNoteForge does

Procedure-templated operative notes where findings, blood loss, specimens sent, counts confirmed and post-op orders are fields, not prose hopes. Signing feeds coding, the discharge summary and the outcome registry without re-typing.

How you actually use it

  1. Start the note against the caseThe desk lists the surgical cases waiting to be noted, so a note is always attached to an operation rather than floating loose.
  2. Fill the fields, not a paragraphProcedure performed, findings, estimated blood loss, closure method, post-op instructions — each its own box, and none of them pre-filled from the template.
  3. Save the draft as often as you likeThe note stays editable for as long as it is a draft, which is what stops a half-written one being signed to get it off the screen.
  4. Sign itAfter that the note stays exactly as signed, and anything further is an addendum that appends rather than an edit that overwrites.
