MassDose

● live in clinics

The round, the doses and the coverage — with the denominator written down beside it.

In plain words: Run a campaign round and see coverage against a population you recorded.

What MassDose does

The campaign round: a mass drug administration or a vaccination round with its areas, its dates and the commodity being given. Every doorstep is one line — the dose given, or the refusal, absence or exclusion that is not one, each of which has to say why. Coverage is a division computed from those lines against a target population somebody entered WITH ITS SOURCE, and adverse events hang off the dose they followed. VaxVault keeps the individual child’s schedule; this keeps the campaign.

How you actually use it

  1. Plan a round and add its areasA name, the kind (Mass drug administration or Vaccination round), what is given as the campaign names it, and the start date; Start it when the round begins. Each village or ward carries its target population and where that number came from — a target without a source is refused, leaving the target blank is allowed, and no number is invented.
  2. Log every doorstepPerson, age, sex and the outcome — Given, Refused, Absent or Ineligible. Anything other than a dose given has to say why, and doses go only into a running round.
  3. Read coverage by areaGiven, refused, absent and ineligible sit beside each other. Where no target population was recorded the row says no denominator instead of showing a percentage.
  4. Record an adverse eventAgainst the dose it followed: severity Mild, Moderate or Severe, the outcome if known, and what happened in at least a sentence. Record outcome revises it later, and Record ack writes down the AEFI acknowledgement you got back — nothing is filed from here.
  5. Close the roundClose asks how the round went and keeps the note on the round.

What it reads

the areas and their populationsthe patient list, where a person is on it

What it writes

dose linescoverage by areaadverse events
Same patient record as every other app — nothing is copied into a silo. Data class: Full PHI.

What it does not do

It does not produce a coverage percentage without a denominator somebody recorded and sourced — an area with no target population shows its dose count and no figure — and it does not file an AEFI report anywhere; the acknowledgement a person gets back after filing one is written down beside the event.

Every app page carries this section. A listing with only benefits is an advertisement.
