A discreet domestic violence screen in the emergency department, seen only by the people it names.
The emergency visit is often the only time a person living with violence meets the health system. The nurse or doctor asks the screen only when the patient is alone and it is safe; otherwise it is recorded as deferred, with nothing asked. Your clinic lists the validated tool it uses with its published source and its own short label for each question; no tool ships. Each answer is yes, no or declined, and the result is the screener’s judgement, never a score. On a positive screen the support offered is written down, and a referral is recorded only with her consent. A screen is seen only by the person who screened and the colleagues they name — a counsellor, a social worker; the owner and administrators cannot open one they are not named on, and nothing from it reaches the general record or Rain.
What it does not do, by design. A listing with only benefits is an advertisement.
