What StrokePath does

Door-to-needle capture in acute care, NIHSS serially, then the rehab arc: mRS at three months, risk-factor panel annually, antiplatelet adherence visible.

How you actually use it

  1. Put the patient on the pathwayEnrolling takes the stroke type, the onset time, and — where the needle was given — that it was thrombolysed with the door-to-needle minutes; a haemorrhagic stroke recorded as thrombolysed is refused.
  2. Let the milestones date themselvesThe swallow screen, mobilisation, rehabilitation assessment, secondary prevention review and the mRS at ninety days are materialised as dated milestones in the same transaction as the enrolment.
  3. Score the NIHSS seriallyEach NIHSS is timestamped and appended, and the service holds the score to the scale’s own range rather than accepting whatever was typed.
  4. Record the mRS once a dayThe modified Rankin score is one judgement per day — a second on the same day is refused — and the registry carries the latest with the date it was given.
  5. Read the clocksThe registry row carries the door-to-needle minutes where a needle was given, the latest NIHSS and mRS, and how many milestones are overdue, all computed on every load.
