What RiskLens does

THIS IS NOT A SEPARATE APP, and it did not need to be. Deterioration on the current stay is NEWS2, which Early Warning already computes from the nurse’s own observations and whose arithmetic the database already audits; complication risk is Morse, Braden and Padua, which Bedside Risk already computes and bands on every read. A third engine beside those two would be a third answer to the same question, and the wrong one would be whichever the ward happened to open. What was actually missing was one view across both, and that shipped: Early Warning now shows a stay’s NEWS2 trend, its open escalation and its falls, pressure and clot scores together, with the time each was taken.

What it reads

the stay’s own NEWS2 scoresthe stay’s own bedside risk assessments

What it writes

nothing — it is a read
Same patient record as every other app — nothing is copied into a silo. Data class: Full PHI.

What it does not do

It computes nothing. Every number in it was calculated by the app that owns it, and no model is involved at any point: this is two existing scores shown side by side, which is why there is no prediction here and nothing to accept or reject. Locally validated risk prediction for Indian conditions is a different product and would need a validation partner before it could honestly ship.

Every app page carries this section. A listing with only benefits is an advertisement.
