What LabelPress does

GS1-128 element strings with computed check digits, labels positioned in millimetres, routing by location with an offline fallback. A reprint reproduces the original — not today’s data — and scan verification checks what was actually printed.

How you actually use it

  1. Register your printersOne row per printer with where it lives, and whether it is online. Nothing prints until at least one printer knows about the clinic.
  2. Say where each document printsA routing rule per document type and location, with a fallback. The desk answers "where would this print, from here, right now?" before a label is wasted.
  3. Publish the label templatesEach label’s elements and fields, versioned. A change is a new version rather than a silent edit.
  4. Check a scanPaste or scan a barcode and the desk tells you what was actually printed on that label — not what today’s data would print.
