What GroupRoom does

Group programmes with cohort scheduling, attendance, and per-member notes that never reference other members by name — the group exists, its members stay private from each other.

How you actually use it

  1. Open a groupName, modality — CBT, DBT, psychoeducation, support or family — seats between 2 and 30, a start date and whether it is a closed group. A running group with the same name is refused.
  2. Admit membersSearch by name or MRN and Admit. The service refuses a full group and one that has ended.
  3. Hold a session and mark attendanceA date and a topic; then present, absent or excused per member, with an optional private note that goes in that member’s record only. One session per group per day.
  4. Close it with a group noteThe note is about the session — the theme, the exercise, how the group responded. The database refuses to close a session without one.
  5. Read one member’s notes at a timePrivate notes on a roster row is the only place note text is fetched. The session panel shows only that a private note is on file.

Same patient record as every other app — nothing is copied into a silo. Data class: Full PHI.

What it does not do

It does not allow one member’s record to name another member.

Every app page carries this section. A listing with only benefits is an advertisement.
