What TATLens does

Every sample’s clock from collection to verified report, split where the time went — waiting for collection, then bench to result — as a median and a p90 per test. You set a target per test, and every order past its target is listed as a breach.

How you actually use it

1. 1Set a target per testSet target takes the test name and the minutes it should take — nothing is watched until you do, and the empty breach list says so rather than reading as good news.
2. 2Read the breach listBreaches lists every order past its target with the patient, the test, when it was ordered and the elapsed time against the target — an order still open past its target breaches now rather than when it finally results.
3. 3Read the medians and the p90sTurnaround by test gives the collect, result and total times as median and 90th percentile per test, computed with percentile_cont over labbridge’s own timestamps.
4. 4Move the windowThe two date fields set the range both lists are computed over, and days are bucketed in the clinic’s own timezone rather than a hardcoded one.

What it does not do

It does not average away the tail — the slowest decile is the headline, because that is the report a doctor remembers.
