What ProsthoFit does

Prosthetic and orthotic episodes: casting, fitting, alignment, gait review at intervals, and repair/replacement cycles with the device history intact.

How you actually use it

  1. Open the episodeOpen an episode takes the patient, the kind of device — transtibial, transfemoral, upper limb, orthosis or other — the side and the indication, and it starts at assessment.
  2. Walk it through the stagesRecord assessment and then Record casting each take a note for that step, and every stage is a guarded update whose WHERE names the stage it must be leaving, so nothing skips ahead.
  3. Add a trial for every fittingAdd trial takes trial fitted or refit needed with a note and is numbered per episode — a refit is a new trial rather than an edit of the last one, because the number of attempts is the clinical history.
  4. Deliver only on a trial that fittedDeliver is disabled, and the service refuses it, until a trial on this episode came back as fitted.
  5. Review the gait, then closeRecord gait review takes good, acceptable or needs adjustment — needs adjustment will not save without a plan — and Close episode is refused while the reviews only ever asked for an adjustment.
