What OrganPledge does

The pledge register a hospital keeps, and the brain-death workflow beside it: two examinations timed by the database’s own clock, a board recorded doctor by doctor with their council registration under a role the Act names, the NOTTO reference written down when the coordinator notifies, and family counselling about donation recorded only after the certification. MedAppz ships none of the Act’s content: the interval between the two examinations, the size of the board and the roles its members hold are loaded by the hospital from the Transplantation of Human Organs Act with the section they came from; a board member cannot be recorded until the roles are, and a certification is refused, by name, until the numbers are.

How you actually use it

1. 1Load the Act before anything is certifiedWhat the Act says here reads Nothing can be certified yet until the hospital loads both numbers. Load a parameter from the Act takes Hours between the two examinations or Doctors on the board, the value, the date in force and Where it comes from — the section of the Act or the Rules, required. Load a board role from the Act takes the code, the role as the Act names it and its citation. MedAppz ships none of the Act’s content.
2. 2Keep the pledge registerRecord a pledge as it was written on the signed form: the donor, the organs pledged, the date, and the first and second witness — the database refuses the same name twice. Withdraw asks why.
3. 3Open a case and record two examinationsOpen a case with the patient and the cause. First examination, then Second examination, each stamped by the database’s own clock in the order they happen; the second is refused before the first.
4. 4Record the boardOn The board, each member with their name, council registration and the role as loaded from the Act, then Add to the board. The database refuses a role the hospital has not loaded, and a registration number already on this board.
5. 5Certify, then record the NOTTO referenceCertify is refused, by name, while the Act’s parameters are not loaded, when the two examinations are closer together than the loaded interval, or when the board is smaller than the loaded number. Record NOTTO notice writes down the reference NOTTO gave; nothing is transmitted, because no credential exists.

What it does not do

It does not certify brain death until the Act’s re-examination interval and board size have been loaded with their citation, and it then refuses a certification whose two examinations are closer together than that interval or whose board is smaller than that number. It records no board member under a role the hospital has not loaded from the Act, and none linked to a doctor who is not on this hospital’s staff. It does not ask a family about donation before the certification, and a consent it names must be this patient’s. It does not transmit anything to NOTTO — no credential exists — it records the reference NOTTO gave.
