What it is

The DHIS2 return prepared from the work already recorded. Your DHIS2 administrator gives you your organisation unit, the data set and each data element’s UID; you map the figures the record can count — finished outpatient and emergency visits, admissions, new registrations, vaccine doses given and prescriptions signed, for everyone or by sex — to them once. For any DHIS2 period (a day, an ISO week, a month, a quarter or a year) the desk counts each figure from its rows and keeps the ids it counted, then prepares the dataValueSets return exactly as DHIS2’s Web API takes it, and, if you name an event program, one event per finished visit with only sex, age and the coded diagnosis. A person reads it and marks it ready. Sending needs your instance connected: an administrator enters its address and a personal access token, sealed and never shown again. Until then you key the figures into DHIS2 by hand and record what DHIS2 said.
