A patient or family tops up a balance against a package or a set of prepaid visits, and each bill draws down from it automatically, so a family paying for a course of physiotherapy or a maternity package sees what is left rather than reconciling receipts.
It does not process the payment itself — it draws down a balance that was funded through the clinic's existing payment collection.
