The mandatory pre-bariatric clearances — psychiatric evaluation, dietician assessment, and endocrine workup — are tracked as required steps before a patient can be listed for surgery, with each clearance’s outcome recorded so an incomplete workup holds the listing instead of being caught the week before the operation.
