A patient on a cardiotoxic chemotherapy or targeted cancer drug has their ejection fraction and other echo measures trended echo to echo against the chemotherapy schedule, so a drop that would otherwise be caught late — after the oncology and cardiology files stopped talking to each other — is flagged while the treatment plan can still be adjusted.
It does not decide whether to stop the cancer drug — oncology and cardiology jointly do; the app surfaces the trend that decision needs.
