Each ambulance is certified as Basic or Advanced Life Support against the state’s own required equipment list — separate from the vehicle’s road permit and fitness certificate, which stay with the transport register — so an ambulance’s medical-equipment compliance and its road-legal status are each tracked against the rule that actually governs them.
