What it is

A transfusion reaction already logged on the blood bank’s haemovigilance register is reported onward to the national Haemovigilance Programme of India in the format it requires, so a reaction is reported nationally the same way an adverse drug reaction or a device fault already is, rather than staying a local-only entry.
