Every pin on an external fixator or Ilizarov frame gets its own check — redness, discharge, looseness — at the scheduled cleaning interval, so a single infected pin is caught against its own history instead of a general ‘frame looks fine’ note. A pin trending toward infection is flagged before it threatens the frame.
It does not decide when a pin needs to come out — that stays a surgeon’s call; the app tracks the trend that call is based on.
