Every channel a contact might use lands in one thread against that contact, not five separate screens: SMS, email, WhatsApp, web chat and review replies, with assignment to a staff member and an SLA clock per thread. Today only WhatsApp is threaded; this brings the rest of the channels to the same place.
It does not send on a channel by itself — it is the shared inbox over channels that each already send through; turning off a channel there removes it from this inbox too.
