Peripheral neuropathy — whatever the cause, diabetic, chemotherapy-induced, or hereditary — is tracked on a standard symptom score and against nerve-conduction study results over time, so a treatment response or a worsening trend is read consistently regardless of which specialist ordered the original workup.
