Every state revises its minimum wage on its own calendar, split further by skill category, and a payslip below the current notified rate for that state and category is flagged before it goes out, not after a labour inspector finds it. The notification history is kept, so a payslip from six months ago is checked against the rate that applied then.
It does not correct a payslip itself — it flags a shortfall for payroll to act on, and it does not track wage notifications for a state the hospital has no staff in.
